Mid-December Monte Report
You may have noticed an absence of Monte Reports over the past few weeks. I've been struggling so much that even writing Monte Reports was too much for me to handle. My morning depression has been especially bad, which is a change from my past pattern of mornings being my best time of day. Fortunately though, things have improved slightly over the past week -- though just slightly. I'm on yet another new medication: Lexapro didn't seem to be helping, so we dumped it in favor of Wellbutrin. It's been since the switch that I've seen improvement. I'm still having trouble occupying myself when I'm not at work though. I've been reading more, which is a good sign of a return to normalcy. And I think I'm closer to actually doing some unpacking of my library than ever before. Work is going okay enough that by the end of the workday I am loathe to actually leave -- again because I'm stuck for motivation as to what to do with myself when I'm not at work, and also because I like my coworkers so much that I don't like parting with them. -- Anyway, I'm looking forward to the coming Solstice and the beginning of longer days. It's just a few short months before I expect to be hiking in the nearby State Park on a regular basis.
My computer is moving like a sloth right now, so I'll leave it at that and try and get this posted.
