Late September Monte Report

So I'm not a great photographer. These are a couple of beetles that I collected at my parents' house last week. I'm experimenting with insect collecting as a new hobby. We'll see if my interest in it persists.

This was the fifth consecutive month of my latest good mood. Let's hope IT persists too!

From Dr. Allen's Coping With Depression:

"[W]e have ample reason to be concerned that stress and depression enter into self-perpetuating vicious circles such that your vulnerability to further episodes can increase over your lifetime..."

In other words: "Episodes beget episodes."

I'm all too familiar with the vicious circles of down-spiraling depression. Perhaps today I'm getting acquainted with the opposite sort of spiral -- "good moods begetting good moods" ...
